A Flapping Wing Mechanism

I'm working on  a Robotic Bird Project (aka Ornithopter) currently.

After digging through a lot of research papers i realized that most of the Ornithopters out there use a wing with a single spur. Although this makes the design and calculation easy; it has a downside : the wing area is same while flapping up and down hence while flapping up it generates a force in the downward direction (equal in magnitude to the one produced in the downstroke). Since the objective of the whole project was Bio-mimicry and considering the drawbacks of the single spur wing, I decided to go for the complex more elegant wing you see down there .

Now I have to design it , make sure the angle of flapping is as desired, and find the dimensions for CAD modelling.
I went through a lot of mechanism simulators and found this little guy quite handy.
(After a hour of trial and error finally made the mechanism to work  as I intended.)

The angles are not accurate though.

For precise path following and mechanism design ill have to search for a more complex software (which ill leave for another day ;) ).
